The Sky Pavilion is a modern luxury villa located within easy reach of the city center of Kandy and boasts of a living area spread across three levels providing guests with wonderful views of the area. The property comprises of 4 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and air-conditioning while other spaces consist of a lounge, dining hall and a number of open decks. One of the main concerns being the green initiative the villa is powered by solar panels while LED lights are used to minimize the carbon footprint. The villa consists of stairs and ahs no wheelchair access. Guests can enjoy delicious home cooked Sri Lankan meals along with a number of Western dishes.

With an appealing tagline 'Clouds for Company' the villa is located at a higher elevation with nothing but the clouds surrounding guests while you can look down at beautiful scenery. Kandy is located about 115km away from Colombo while you can either drive or enjoy a luxury train ride which takes about 2 1/2 hours. Taxi services are available within the city for you to reach your destination or prior arrangements can be made.
The Sky Pavilion Villa comprises of 4 distinctive bedrooms while each room boasts of their own exceptional advantages. The rooms which are named after star constellations - Andromeda, Cygnus, Aquila and Ankaa are air-conditioned while they all consist of attached bathrooms with hot water facilities, rain showers and hair dryers. Other modern conveniences include safety locker, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi access and piped music. The first level comprises of two adjoining rooms while the other two are located on the upper level which can be opened out to the Sky Deck. All rooms offer 180 degrees of beautiful views of the surroundings hill side.
Feasts at the Sky Pavilion are fulfilling and simple while the resident chef takes time to listen to your personal preferences and requirements. The menu comprises of a range of delicious local and western dishes while all produce is purchased from nearby farms. The dining hall has a long rustic table and can easily accommodate 11 guests while the L shaped deck which adjoins the lounge is perfect for alfresco dining. From romantic candle lit dinners to early morning breakfasts, guests can also enjoy a barbecue dinner on the deck for groups of six or more. Cooking lessons and an introduction to the spice cupboard can be arranged along with the resident cook. The bar area and stools provide additional space although there is no liquor license at the villa. Guests can bring in their own alcoholic beverages without a hassle.
The Sky Deck is the perfect place to bask in the sun and enjoy perfect views while bird watching enthusiasts can also enjoy a number of different species flying around the area. The Sky Lounge is a cozy venue furnished with a sofa and easy chairs where guests can laze around in front of the 3D TV, watch cable television or movies from your iPod. The lounge is also a favoured location for afternoon teas. Piped music and Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the villa while there is a doctor on call at all times.
The location of the Sky Pavilion in Kandy allows guests with the ease of sightseeing within the city and its suburbs. There are a number of historical sites, religious venues and places of natural beauty which includes the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the Kandy Lake and the Town area, the Udawattakele Sanctuary, the Garrison Cemetery, Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, the Tea Museum and various other Historical Temples. Excursions can be made to the Victoria Golf and Country Club which is about 16km away from Kandy and also the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage in Kegalle, the Knuckles Mountain Range and Nuwara Eliya.
